Seaside San Diego Wedding of Good Friends

I had the best of both worlds over Memorial Day weekend - I got to attend a wedding and be the photographer! Dan, the groom, is my husband's good friend from childhood. Dan married the beautiful Ellen who loves vintage decor, is not afraid to dance on the party bus, and is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Their pagan seaside San Diego wedding, with a gathering of friends and family, was a sweet reflection of their world and the champagne and taco reception was a blast. My kids also got to attend their first wedding and luckily managed to not fall over the cliffs during the ceremony. Congratulations Ellen and Dan! 

Eva's Sunday Afternoon Baby Shower & Maternity Session

   Have you ever seen a pregnant woman as gorgeous as Eva? She is as warm, emotive, and fun as you can see in the images. I was there to photograph the lovely baby shower that her family had thrown to celebrate the impending arrival. Her family  (complete with sisters, cousins, mother, inlaws) and friends were so full of joy and creativity. It is a family tradition to have each person design a quilt square which will then be stitched together to create a blanket for the baby. So sweet! I was fortunate enough to also get to do a quick maternity shoot as well.
