Morning Time with Cecelia & Everett

For me, motherhood, especially in that first year or two, brought many mixed emotions - joy, pure love, melancholy, exhaustion, happiness. As my kids get older the emotions I experience are different and I realize that the time of early motherhood is really unique and special (and a bit crazy).  I have known Cecelia for quite a while now and knew that photographing her as a mother would be a lot of fun and bit nostalgic for me. It was more than obvious of how much joy Everett brings to her life and just how sweet their relationship is. With her beauty, grace and calm, Cecelia is the mother we all want to be and Everett is the baby we dream about.

Edna Maguire 1st Grade Hoedown

Finnley was so excited to get his turn this year with the hoedown at his school. It is such an awesome event and it makes me very grateful for all of the wonderful teachers who help orchestrate the event. Oh, the story behind the 1st photo and then the 2nd is I had asked Wyatt to give his brother a kiss. You can see the reaction!
